US President called "Black Monkey" on his Twitter

US President Barack Obama gets Racist messages on his twitter account. As the US President announced his twitter handle @POTUS, with few minutes of announcement, it was hammered by racist posts, which led the secret service pay one of those tweeters a visit.

One of the tweet had his famous campaign poster, but showed him eyes closed, with a rope around his neck with the word  HOPE transposed by ROPE, indicating a lynching.  The accompanying text said, #arrestobama#treatson we need 'ROPE FOR CHANGE.'

Its writer was a Minneapolis man, who later posted that the Secret Service agents had paid him a visit, the  afterwards. In another tweet, the tweeter called the President a, "Black Monkey," and one tweeted,"get back to your cage monkey"

The White House said they have seen such kind od posts before as well. Spokesman Josh Earnest said that "those kind of posts and images are common on the Internet"
