A woman gives birth to a "Plastic Baby," sounds weird!!!!!

The baby doll who is given birth and named plastic baby, starts crying whenever some one touches her and looks like a rubber doll and her appears to look like a gold fish.

You might never had heard about a PLASTIC BABY, who looks like a rubber doll and sheds skin like that of reptiles. This news has spread all over Amritsar like a fire spreads on petrol and people all over Amritsar are gathering to watch the baby as she has become a center of attraction.

The birth of these kind of babies are very rare, to be more precised scientifically occurs once in six lakh newborns.

These kind of babies are known as COLLODION BABIES.  After examination of the baby by Guru Nanak Devji Medical College & Hospital, " The baby starts crying when someone touches her, her lips and eyes are red hot & little doll is even unable to take feed from her mother."

This is a kind genetic disorder caused due to the mutation of certain genes and is usually an automosal recessive, congenital icthyosis (scaly skin condition). 10% of Collodion babies have normal skin as compared to this babies skin.

Collodion babies who are born premature, are also known as Plastic babies. This is a kind of wax and shining skin which is also tight. Doctors said that the plastic babies develop crack in their skin and baby's membrane gets peeled off automatically within a period of 15 to 30 days. In some cases, the plastic type coating skin makes the baby's life miserable.
