Blast at Virar Petrol Pump

Please do not pay attention on this rumours.

Since few days now, a picture of a petrol pump set on fire has been making the rounds on social media. The issue got hyped up when a few credible news agencies started posting these pictures about the said fire on Twitter and their blogs

 But like many social media fake messages, this one also turned out to be fake. After contacting the Vasai Virar Fire Brigade Department to understand the depth of the situation, officials at the department denied the existence of such fire.  

"Such incident has not taken place in this region and the photos are of different area and the images are been circulated through various social messaging apps. We have received several calls from government officials but there is no such incident taken place and its a fake rumour, said Bharat Gupta, Incharge, Vasai Virar Fire Brigade Department.

"We request the internet users to stop spreading rumours and to not panic on fake images and information which has been in a chain continuity since past four days,' said Gupta.

The messages have gone viral. People are using social mediums like whats app, Facebook, twitter and so on to promote all this fake new. Please share this article to as many people as possible.
