We all know that using a phone or a smart phone while driving is an offense. But is using a Smart Watch is also an offense ?

A man named Jeffery Macesin in Canada who wasn't aware that using a Smart Watch is also an offense while driving, was fined 120 Canadian dollars and given four dermit points in Quebec for his smart watch while driving. The man was using an Apple Smart Watch.

Jeffery from the Pincourt said he was shocked when he was fined because he wasn't aware that he was breaking the law. Jeffery further said that he thought he was permitted to watch his smart watch while driving, as long as he was not tapping on his smart phone while driving.

Jeffery said, "that his phone was on charging in his bag, and the auxiliary cable was connected to the music player through which he was able to listen to his favorite  songs, and he was just changing the song from his smart watch connected to his smart phone and his hand was on the steering."

While travelling towards Vaudreuil, I noticed that a cop car was behind me and it didn't give any lights, but then they turned it on. I thought that they just wanted to get ahead, and I got confused. But when I allowed them to pass by, they just pulled me over and slapped me with the fine under a section of the Quebec Highway Safety Code (QHSC) that says," No person may, while driving a road vehicle can use a hand held device that includes a telephone connection," said Jeffery Macesin.

Jeffery further argued that while driving technically he was not holding his phone. Lawyer Avi Levy, who specialises in fighting cases which involve traffic violations, said that, "I knew that this was just a question "of time before we get a case like this, but this definitely won't be the last question."

He further said that he was not convinced that the Apple watch itself is a phone, but its a Bluetooth device that communicates on behalf of the phone, and it is established in the law that you are allowed to use Bluetooth devices and it is doesn't constitute an infraction.

Jeffery is raising his ticket and is thinking of hiring a lawyer to represent him in this case.

Isn't it strange. Yes, what you have heard is correct. 4 Year Old Girl's Kidneys went 'Missing' After The Operation at AIIMS, alleged the little girl's father.

The 4 year old girl named Deepika Chandra, underwent a surgery to remove an inflamed kidney at the AIIMS hospital in Delhi. After the procedure uncovered a scan was undertaken and what came out was both the Kidneys of the baby girls were missing. We did an ultrasound in which we came to know that both her kidneys were missing, said Pawan Kumar her father.

The 4 year old baby has been on the dialysis machine since the month of March and kidney transplant is the only option said the doctor. Her father has also filed a police complaint against the doctor and hospital.

Two days after the surgery the 4 year old girl started undergoing severe pain because of which is why doctors asked for an ultrasound test. When the baby girl was initially admitted, the left kidney of the girl was swollen and inflamed, as per doctors advise they asked them to remove her left kidney. The right kidney was alright. After the test the doctors said that both her kidneys were missing, when asked to doctors who operated  her they did not answer his queries properly, when spoke to the AIIMS admin department there was no appropriate answer, lastly I complained to the police, said her father. 


Her father claimed that the test which was taken by AIIMS in the month of December, claimed that both her kidneys were fine. The clarifications given by the doctors were :-

• The right kidney had somehow shifted to the same side as the left
• The child had only one kidney when she was admitted.
• It might be the case where there was only one kidney, but ultrasound could not catch it

We are hoping that the parents will donate a kidney, and the operation will be done free by the hospital.

New York has recreated thw Frida Kahlo studio and garden. The studio and garden which belonged to the late Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo, a magnetic inspiration for artists and intellectuals all over the world, has been recreated in New York, United States of America.

The studio and garden represents the focus of an artist on nature, and includes a display of over a dozen  of original paintings and drawings.

During the first show of Frida Kahlo's work in New York in more than 10 years,"we were inspired by Frida Kahlo's art, but also by the artistry of her garden in Mexico City,we knew from her studying that she was a careful observer of nature and plants." said Joanna Groarke, curator of Bronx Based New York botanical garden.

The exhibition reimagines Kahlo's studio and garden from Casa Azul (Frida Kahlo Museum, Mexico City). It was Kahlo's house where she grew up in the Mexico City with her husband, Diego Rivera, an Mexican artist & past away in 1954 at the age of 47, in that house.

Kahlo was a surrealist painter who was famous for her haunting self portraits and her depiction of the female form. The exhibition seeks to examine Kahlo's work in a different way and combines plants already in the garden with others sourced from else where, said Grorake. Kahlo only received recognition for her work decades after her death. Now she is been given a consideration in the most Latin American Artists.

   grind it and make it into a paste
   and apply it on the skin for 15
   minutes and then wash off.
◆Mixture of honey with papaya        
   pulp and apply it on the tanned      
   area and let it dry for half an hour  
   (30minutes) and then wash off.
◆ Mixture of yoghurt with fresh
    orange juice and apply it on the
    tanned area.
◆Mix and make a pack of yoghurt,
   honey and turmeric, apply it on the
   tanned skin and wash off.
◆ Mix red dal sprouts with aloe vera
    and apply. It clears your tan and
    rejuvenates your skin.

High Court approves Slaman's plea to travel abroad

Its not been even a month after Salman Khan's verdict when he was convicted and sentenced to five years in Jail, in the Hit-And-Run case, The Bombay high court on Tuesday granted Salman Khan permission to travel to Dubai as he had to perform in an award show lately this week. Salman Khan can now travel to Dubai for three days from 27th May - 30th May, 2015.

Salman Khan's plea was excepted on certain conditions and then allowed by Justice Shallini Phansalkar Joshi. Salman Khan will have to submit his passport to the investigating agency within 12 hours of his return from Dubai.

The conditions led by the High Court in which Salman Khan would have to submit the following

1) A detailed travel itinerary

2) Flight details

3) Place of stay in Dubai

4) Contact number

5) Additional security of Rs 2 lakh   

    before the trial court.

Salman Khan is also asked to inform the Indian consulate in Dubai about his arrival on reaching the city.  Salman Khan has also approached the High Court for a vacation bench in his plea, so that he can complete his professional commitments.

If you own a house and it is kept occupied, you may nkw have to pay a new tax which is the "Vacant Appartment Tax," which will be double the amount levied on the property that you own at present.

This step will open up approximately 4.80 lakh houses in Mumbai in the rental market. The proposal aims to tackle the rental housing problem in Maharashtra State.

"Such incident has not taken place in this region and the photos are of different area and the images are been circulated through various social messaging apps. We have received several calls from government officials but there is no such incident taken place and its a fake rumour, said Bharat Gupta, Incharge, Vasai Virar Fire Brigade Department.

"We request the internet users to stop spreading rumours and to not panic on fake images and information which has been in a chain continuity since past four days,' said Gupta.

Having lot of gold or at least 30 grams at home ? Here is good news, the government has planned on how you can earn money on gold. According to the plan released on Tuesday 19th May, 2015,  households would be allowed to deposit jewellery with banks and earn interest on the value of gold Tax Free.

Isn't this something interesting???

Your gold is safe with the bank plus and extra income. The rate of returns has not yet been decides yet, but is said to match with that of fixed deposits. The banks are mostly to be allowed to use the mobilised gold as part of their mandatory requirements with RBI, such as SLR (Statutory Liquidity Ratio) and CRR (Cash Reserve Ratio)

The finance has sought comments from stakeholders on the draft gold monetation scheme by June 2nd, 2015.

Within a short time span you may get an option of depositing gold in banks and earn Tax-Free interest on its value. The government has planned to get into the thousands of tonnes of gold stocked by Indian families, as part of the grand plan ti channelise idle assests for produtive use and reduce costly billion imports.

The paln is named as the "Gold Monetisation Plan" that will allow families to deposit jewellery with banks and earn Tax-Free interest on the value of their gold. The minimum amount that needs to be deposited is 30 grams of gold with banks.

The gold will undergo purity test and be melted after the consent of the owner. If the jewellery is stoned or etc it will be handed back to the owner. The interest rates have not yet been decided, but will likely be same as of prevailing bank fixed deposits(FD).

The scheme will other ways also help jewellery and gems sector by making availability of gold as raw material on loan from banks. A person or an institution holding surplus gold can get it valued from BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) approved hall marking centres, open a gold saving account in banks for a period of 1 year and earn interest in cash or gold according to the draft.

Under the scheme proposed, interest will be payable to customers after 30/60 days from the date the gold account is been opened.

For example:- If a customer deposits 100 grams of gold and gets 2% interest, then on maturity he has credit of 102 grams.

Customers will be given the option of encashing or taking back gold. The tenure of the plan proposed is minimum 1 year, with a roll out option of multiples of 1 year same like that of fixed deposit where breaking of lock period would be allowed.

Salman Khan speaks up in front of media heartily after his verdict for the first time.
Salman Khan attended his first conference meeting in Kashmir during the shoot of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The actor was in Kashmir for the completion of his shoot in Kashmir.

Between January to April, 794 mobile phones were stolen on local trains, up from 444 in the same period last year. Mobile phone thefts and robberies on city's local trains saw an alarming rise this year, with commuters losing 794 phones, worth a whopping Rs 140.51 lakh, between January to April.

The railway police have claimed that a majority of such crimes are being committed by juveniles. Last year same period stood and 444 phones, worth Rs 76.25 lakh revealed statistics collated by the railway police.

The government railway police (GRP) revealed that while minora were mainly in stealing mobile phones during peak hours, men and drug addicts were behind this robberies.

Alcohol consumption in India has increased by a worrying 55% over the past two decades between 1992 and 2012. India's per capita consumption is the 3rd highest in the world after the Russian Federation and Estonia, a report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has revealed.

Another worrying trend in India is that the average age of alcohol consumption is gone from 28 years in the year 1980s to 17years in 2007. In contrast, the average manual alcholo consumption among the 34 memebr countries of the OECD has fallen by 2.5 % over the same period. The OECD report examines the economic and public health imoact of alcohol use, the fifth Leading Cause Of Death and disability world wide.

In India, alcohol abuse results in huge annual losses because of alcohol related problems at workspaces. Also, nearly 25% of road accidents are caused by those who consume alcohol and drive. More than 2 in 3 children have drunk alcohol by age of 15 and Girls have caught up with boys in the past 10 years.

Experrs said that alcohol abuse was a contributing factor in more than 60 major types of diseases majorily including several types of cancer, haemorrhagic stroke and hypertensive heart disease and liver cirrhosis.

The rapid rise in alcohol consumption is an alarming statistic for public health. So far, alcohol has not been considered a public health problem and no alcohol control policies are in place from the public health point of view.

The State Government has formed a special technical committee to exclusively look at tackling and preventing the spread of communicable diseases. While the group, created by government resolution (GR) has last month, has taken up H1N1 as its primary challenge, it will also look at vector-borne diseases such as malaria and dengue.

 The Maharashtra Communicable Diseases Prevention and Control Technical Committee (MCDPCTC), under the ministry of health, has been entrusted with the responsibility of drafting guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOP) and making recommendations for carious communicable disease ranging from H1N1 to tuberculosis.

The committee has representatives from both the public health sector as well as the private, said a state health officer.The SOP and recommendations prepared by the technical committee will be made available to all healthcare institutions and providers across the state.

Among the key recommendations that have been drawn for H1N1, are vaccination and voluntarily awareness campaigns.

"We will focus on the trivalent vaccine for the H1N1, especially among the vulnerable population that includes diabetics and people suffering from hypertension, the elderly, children suffering from asthma, women in third semester of pregnancy among others. The vaccination will reduce the mortality in this population and even otherwise. By June, a voluntarily campaign will also be taken up across the state," said Dr. Salunkhe.

After going through intense media scrutiny recently, Salman Khan has decided to stay away from the limelight for some time. Salman Khan will apparently not promote his home production, starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, or his next, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, to avoid facing the media.

A woman was raped in Kalyan and was found in Bhopal. A 20 year old woman, who was allegedly gang raped by four men at a railway yard in Kalyan, was found unconscious in Bhopal.

The woman was found by a Bhopal Government Railway Police (GRP) officer who registered a case and after questioning her, analysed that the incident took place in Kalyan.

On 11th May, 2015, the woman was found unconscious in one of the coaches of Amritsar (Pathankot Express) by a ticket checker at Bhopal railway station who informed the Bhopal GRP.

The woman was taken to the local hospital where her treatment took place, as she was unconscious the police were unaware of where she came from. Later, she said, she had been raped by four men in Kalyan.

On further interrogation, the woman said she was a Bangladesh native and was bought to Bhiwandi by a person named Mithun Chakraborty who sold her to a person named Jithu at Bhiwandi Hanuman Tekdi, a red light area.

She said on May 10th, a person assuring that he would help her brought her to the Kalyan railway yard, where four people raped her. She claims that she does not know how she got on the train.

The Kalyan GRP have started their investigation and are going to get the CCTV footage of Kalyan station of May 10th, when the woman got on the train.

Gunned men kills 43 people in bus attack in Karachi, Pakistan.

A troop of gunmen travelling on bikes, boarded a bus and opened firing on the travelers in Karachi on Wednesday.They killed 43 commuters travelling from that bus. The pink bus was completely holed with bullets and the seats were filled with blood which was dripping out from the bus.

As one of the gunmen was climbed on to the bus, the other shouted, "Kill Them All!" and after hearing this the blindly opened fire at everyone, a wounded woman told the media by phone.

The Superintendent of Police Najib Khan told Reuters that there were six gunmen, all the passengers were Ismailis, which is a minority Shi'ite Muslim section.Pakistan mostly consist of Sunnis.

The militant group Jundullah, which had previously attacked Muslim minorities before said, "The people killed were Ismailis and we consider them as Kafir (Non - Muslim), we were four attackers.  In the coming days we will gain attack Ismailis, Christians, Shi'ites" Later a tweet was posted through twitter stating that this militants were as Islamic State.

As a result of blind firing 43 people were spot dead and 30 people were wounded in the attack by the Islamic State on a bus carrying people.

The wounded people were taken to the hospital and where the bus was parked there was a chain created by young people to block everyone.

Amtrak train goes off rail in Philadelphia, 6 people dead.

An Amtrak train that was heading to New York city derailed and tipped over in Philadelphia on Tuesday night, destroying the front of it, killing six people, and injuring several more. Some passengers rescued through the window

Mayor Michael Nutter, who confirmed the deaths, said the scene was horrific. "It is an absolute disastrous mess," he said. "Never seen anything like this in my life." Firefighters said dozens of people were hospitalized and six were critically injured on Amtrak train in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania May 13, 2015.

City-bound train carrying 243 people to derail at about 9:30 p.m. EDT Tuesday (0130 GMT Wednesday).The accident left rail cars mangled, ripped open and strewn upside down in the city's Port Richmond neighborhood along the Delaware River. Police officers enter a SEPTA bus carrying survivors of an Amtrak train derailment

The cause of the derailment was unknown, but Amtrak said it was investigating. The area where the derailment occurred is known as Frankford Junction and has a big curve.

The decision will affect 50 contract-run school buses in the city and 75 in Navi Mumbai.

Even after repeatedly appealing to higher authorities to exempt school buses from paying toll went unheard as a result of which bus operators decided to charge Rs300 more  from students travelling in buses which have to cross the toll nakas to reach their destination.

These include schools in Borivali, Dahisar, Juhu, Mulund and Navi Mumabai. The hike will be effective from June, announced the School Bus Owner's Association (SBOA) on Tuesday.

"We have already informed the schools about the hike," said Anil Garg, president of SBOA. He said a bus incurs an expense of Rs13,200 a month for paying toll, which means each chikd should pay Rs528, assuming that 25 students travel in one bus.

Our buses cross toll nakas atleast 8 times a day. There are parents who send children to school far away from their houses and our buses have to cross Bandra Worli sea link and other toll nakas.

Garg said, they are forced to take this step as the government is not ready to grant toll exemption to school buses. Inspite of writing letters to Chief Minister and Revenue Minister they have not received any response.

Can't assume how much more trouble are people going to face because of our lovely government.

A railway fracture between Chembur and Tilaknagar stations affected services on the Central Railway (CR) harbour line on Tuesday morning, causing inconvenience to commuters.

The rail fracture was detected at the two stations at 11:25am. It was rectified around 11:50am on the line that goes towards Panvel.

In the meantime, two services were held up and several trains were delayed by around 20 minutes. 

Railway officials pointed out that no trains were cancelled.

For the first time after the state government banned the sale and possession of beef, a butcher was arrested for illegally selling meat on Tuesday.

The police arrested Mohammed Akram Qureshi after the beef was allegedly found hidden under a shed near BDD chawl Worli. He was later released on bail.

Qureshi was arrested was selling meat without the requisite shop licence. The seized meat was been sent to Bombay Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA) hospital in Parel for testing. It confirmed that the meat was of a cow, bull, an additional section under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation (MAP) Act will be appealed against Qureshi.  The reports arr expected in 8 - 10days.

The butcher was arrested based on the complaint launched by a resident who resides at Parel, Sharad Gupta, said the police. Gupta allegedly found the meat under the shed, confirmed with Qureshi and informed the police.

There should be some strict action taken against all the law breakers.

Another monster quake shocks Nepal, 30 killed, over 1,000 injured

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake killed at least 41 people and spread panic in Nepal on Tuesday, bringing down buildings already weakened by a devastating tremor less than three weeks ago and unleashing landslides in Himalayan valleys near Mount Everest.The new earthquake was centered 76 km (47 miles) east of the capital in a hilly area close to the border with Tibet

Rescue helicopters were sent to mountain districts where landslides and collapsed buildings may have buried people.At least three people had been rescued in the capital, while another nine pulled to safety in the district of Dolkha.More than 1,000 people have been injured following the temblor, according to Nepalese government information and communications ministry spokesman Minendra Rijal.

The Tuesday quake was followed closely by at least 10 strong aftershocks. Frightened Villagers who watched their homes collapse said they only survived because they were already living in tents.

In India, tremors were felt in Allahabad and train services were reportedly halted temporarily in Delhi.

A number of organisations are helping victims in Nepal and accepting donations.

Citizens get ready to face a hike of Re1 in fares of auto rickshaw and taxi fares, from June 1st 2015.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Transport Authority (MMRTA) cleared the fare revision on Monday. The transport authorities will submit the revised fares to the Bombay High Court for its permission.

This the second fare hike for auto rickshaws and taxis in less than a time span of a year. The last time when fare was hiked was in August, 2014, which increased from Rs.15 to Rs.17 and taxi fare from Rs19 to Rs21.

The fare hike is definitely gonna affect the long and short distance commuters across the MMR.

A woman gives birth to a "Plastic Baby," sounds weird!!!!!

This is a kind genetic disorder caused due to the mutation of certain genes and is usually an automosal recessive, congenital icthyosis (scaly skin condition). 10% of Collodion babies have normal skin as compared to this babies skin.

Collodion babies who are born premature, are also known as Plastic babies. This is a kind of wax and shining skin which is also tight. Doctors said that the plastic babies develop crack in their skin and baby's membrane gets peeled off automatically within a period of 15 to 30 days. In some cases, the plastic type coating skin makes the baby's life miserable.

The next time when you buy a bottle of water, you should be aware about the 30% of packaged water samples tested by the Food & Drug Administration(FDA) from different districts in the state were found unsafe for human consumption.

Doctors said that during summer people tend to buy water from outside and drink, assuming that it would be safe.
However, the test has proven high microbial content in water, which can be injurious to health. It can lead to gastroenteritis that can cause diarrhea and abdominal pain.

Salman Khan gets bail on paying a bond of Rs. 30,000. Salman Khan completed the court formalities of getting bail. The court asked Salman to pay a bond of Rs. 30000 and then released him on bail.

The layers of Salman Khan had already reached the court and like celebrities casually do Salman made his appearance late in the court.

Salman gave an undertaking that he will fulfill all the bail conditions. Salman is now Free To Go Home,  after paying 30,000. The court has decided the next session to be held on 15th of June 2015.
